Milanese songwriter, author of drama and cabaret, painter , starts to get in touch with show-business at a very young age, and in 1991 takes part succesfully in the renown Italian Musical Event PREMIO TENCO in Sanremo.


In 1996 he moves to France with his son Alessandro , piano player composer and arranger. There they create a small ensemble of two violins,viola,cello,bass/electric bass,drums and percussions,guitar with Alessandro(piano,andarrangements) and Roberto (vocals and guitar).


For a couple of years R.Sironi with his ensemble toured constantly throughout France.There he gained critical acclaim among public,press and music promoters.

He also performed in London, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.

 

Thanks to the meeting between Roberto and Italo "Lilli" Greco (one of the most important figures of the Italian Music World wich worked with Ennio Morricone,Paolo Conte,Francesco De Gregori…) the artist's first two official CD projects took birth,wich contain original tracks composed and performed by Sironi and the small orchestra. The CD's are produced by DFV.

  During the "Festival International du Film de Cannes 2008", the same structure hosted an exhibition of paintings by Roberto Sironi, entitled "Cinematografo da taschino" (Pocket Cinema), which will exposed two hundred and fifty works by the artist dedicated to cinema.


  In 2009, Roberto Sironi received in Italy the "PREMIO LUNEZIA DOC (Lunezia Doc Award) for the "musical-literary" quality of his songs and the "PREMIO PER IL  MIGLIOR TESTO” (Award for the best text) during the Festival & ID M ( Identity & Musica) at the Teatro del Verme in Milan.


  In 2010, the “PREMIO DINO GABIAZZI” for the  Milanese culture was awarded to him.

  The projects are most of all based upon the extraordinary live impact of the artist and his group, as shown by their constant success among the French,and lately Belgian and English public, during the group's live shows over the past two years.


  In 2007, Roberto Sironi directed his first film (movie) "Film di Notte" which was presented during the "Cannes International Film Festival 2008" as part of “Cannes Cinéphiles” at the  Studio 13 (Cannes / France).
